Venture Philanthropy Learning Circle
From Giving to Resilience
Strengthening Impact-Driven Ventures in the MENA Region
As philanthropic capital in the region grows in scale, expectations around how it is deployed are evolving. Short-term and reactive models are increasingly being challenged by the need for sustained impact, resilience, and accountability. Venture philanthropy offers a more engaged approach, combining flexible capital with strategic support and long-term alignment. Yet, its effectiveness depends not only on the model, but on how capital is governed.
This closed-door learning circle convenes a select group of foundations, family offices, impact funds, and ecosystem enablers to explore how venture philanthropy can better support impact-driven ventures in the region, and what it takes to deploy capital in a way that is both flexible and accountable.
Insights gathered through the discussion will contribute to an anonymised, co-branded report by MENA Impact and The Pearl Initiative, aimed at shaping a regional perspective on venture philanthropy.
