Over 400 University Students in Bahrain Join Pearl Initiative’s Governance Session

Over 400 students from the University of Bahrain participated in a virtual Business Pledge session hosted by the Pearl Initiative, exploring the principles of ethical leadership, governance, and sustainability. The session, led by Noor Bukamal, Director of Corporate Governance & Board Secretary at Beyon, emphasised the importance of accountability, transparency, and proactive governance as foundations for long-term business success.

This collaboration is part of the Pearl Initiative’s ongoing efforts to promote good governance and ethical business practices among the Gulf’s future leaders. Through its Business Pledge Programme, launched in partnership with the United Nations Global Compact, the organisation has reached over 27,000 students across the region, reinforcing the critical link between governance, ESG principles, and sustainable growth.
