The Pearl Initiative Diversity and Inclusion Best Practices Working Group members are organising a session on ‘Implementing Best Practices in Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace” on 7 June 2022 session with the aim to share practices in implementing diversified culture measures within their companies.

The session will bring together practitioners from leading regional companies to showcase their journey and practices in diversity and inclusion. Speakers will share experiences, insights, and practical know-how on current structures, policies, processes, and tools they used to drive effective diversified culture and practices in their companies. Participants will get an opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions and learn from the experiences of companies with existing diversity and inclusion practices.

Kholoud Adnan Mousa

Designation: Partner, KPMG Saudi Arabia

Kholoud is the first Saudi woman to qualify as CPA in Saudi Arabia . She had the honor of being the first female Partner in any Big Four professional services firm in the country. Kholoud is an audit Partner and head of Inclusion , Diversity and Equity at KPMG and a certified family business governance advisor.

Kholoud is a Board member of ILMI Museum an entity under “MiSK Foundation” a well known non for profit organization in KSA and a founding board chairperson of Saudi female accountants foundation. In 2019 she has been named as one of the leading 20 top Saudi Women in Finance, Economy, and Commerce.

Zina Janabi

Designation: Director PwC Middle East I&D Director

Zina is the Middle East I&D Director with over 20 years of experience. Utilizing her Business Development, Legal and HR expertise to attract, develop and retain women in the Middle East. She is a High-achieving executive leader who drives results through growth mindset, inclusive leadership and change management.

 

Prior to joining the Middle East I&D team, she was part of the Consulting Transformation team, leading key Transformation and Reimagine Delivery initiatives across the region. Prior to joining the consulting team, she was part of the Entrepreneurial and Private Clients Services team. She worked with a wide range of clients and assisted in variety of issues such is ownership governance, continuity and succession planning. She is also specialized in developing Family Business Thought Leadership materials and related articles.

She brings in practical experience and has worked in a wide range of professional firms including KPMG and Ernst & Young. Prior to joining PwC ME, Zina worked for 10 years at Ernst & Young – United States managing relationships with priority clients such as Carlyle, General Dynamics and Rolls Royce.

Zina holds a Master degree in Law from American University in Washington DC and a Bachelor’s in Law from Baghdad University – Iraq. Zina is actively involved in many people development initiatives including training, coaching and mentorship internally and externally via established mentorship and coaching programs.
