Head of Shallow Reservoir, Tatweer Petroleum

Ahmed Al Janahi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from United Arab Emirates University (2009) with a focus on Reservoir Simulation. He is currently doing his Master of Science Degree in Engineering Management from George Washington University. His dissertation title is “Application of Economic Evaluation and Decision Making Modelling on Petroleum Production Sharing Agreements in the Middle East”

Ahmed completed couple of internships with Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (2006), Bahrain Petroleum Company (2006 & 2007) Schlumberger – Abu Dhabi (2008). In 2009, Ahmed joined Mubadala Petroleum and worked in several operated and non-operated assets as a reservoir engineer in Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Oman, Thailand and Bahrain. In 2016 Ahmed joined Tatweer Petroleum in Bahrain and currently holds a position with Tatweer as a Senior Reservoir Engineer in the Reservoir Management Team.

Ahmed is a board member for the Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars Alumni Association responsible of planning various alumni events throughout the year, to facilitate social interactions, promote community service projects, support career development, and provide assistance for those Scholars and alumni interested in applying to graduate and professional schools. Also, He was a Board Member in the Youth Advisory Board for Shaikha Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation and working closely with Her Highness Shaikha Mariam bint Mohamed Al Nahyan provide advice and guidance from youth perspectives on how to further develop the Foundation work and make suggestions to the Foundation as to new areas of work and initiatives that it might consider developing.
