  • Teachers are the first line of defense when it comes to supporting children in being climate-literate and forward-thinking.
  • Businesses often undertake activities to act as if they are environmentally conscious, such as “plant a tree” schemes. These are not very useful and do not ensure that businesses have an entrenched culture of stakeholder and environmental care.
  • Environmentalism and environmental care is a way of life and businesses must fall in line, particularly as environmental care is part of ESG frameworks.
  • Actions should not just “sound” sustainable, but must demonstrate sustainability consistently. This is the difference between lip service and impact.
